'What I remember of my climb is that - contrary to what one want us to believe - it is better to look down than to look up. When you look down, you see the ground, which gives you a pleasant feeling of orientation. But when you look up, then the same thing happens like when you look up along a church tower: Through the movement of the clouds, you appear to be falling over. It's the upward look that makes you dizzy. So, be sure not to look up!'
