Op het werk van deze kunstenares
vonden we een zeer bijzondere microbiologische kunstklimatologische soort,
de Euglena, het welbekende oogdiertje. Deze met een zweephaar en lichtgevoelige
oogvlek uitgeruste protist komt men nooit tegen op unica. De Euglena voelt
zich uitsluitend tot multiples (een oplage van 2 is daarbij al voldoende)
aangetrokken. Over de kwaliteit van de voorstelling doet het oogdiertje geen
uitspraken. De aanwezigheid van een beginnende bacteriëngroei geeft reden
voor enige ongerustheid. Misschien is het beter om in de toekomst minder gebruik
van druktechnieken te maken. Er gaat toch niets boven de directe emotieoverdracht
van pen of penseel. Aldus de immer kritische maar o zo objectieve micro-organismen
die deelnamen aan deze analyse.
On the work of this artist, we found an extraordinary microbial art climatological species, the Euglena. This protist with a light-sensitive eyespot (stigma) and lashlike appendages (flagella) will never be found on unique works of art. Euglena is exclusively attracted by multiples (an edition of two copies is sufficient). Euglena doesn't pronounce upon the quality of the depiction. The presence of early fungus formation causes some concern. It might be recommendable to reduce the application of printing techniques in the future. Nothing beats the immediate transfer of emotions through pen or brush. Thus spoke the critical but ever so objective micro-organisms that participated in this analysis.
