De determinatie van de microbiologische kunstklimatologische indicatorsoorten die zich aan dit werkstuk gehecht hadden gaf een probleem. Er waren zo veel verschillende klassen bij elkaar te vinden dat er twijfels rezen of er hier geen sprake was van fraude. Misschien was de afbeelding behandeld met een frauduleuze voedingsbodem (agar agar) waardoor tal van soorten zich ondanks de voor hen niet geschikte beeldende kwaliteiten toch aangetrokken voelden tot dit kunstwerk. Een andere mogelijkheid, en laten we in dit geval maar van de goede bedoeling van de artiest uitgaan, is dat de combinatie van het non-figuratieve grid waarop een hiermee contrasterende voorstelling was aangebracht de diverse soorten heeft doen duizelen.
The determination of the microbial art climatological indicator-types that clang to this piece of work caused a problem. We came across so many different classes, that the question arose whether this was a matter of fraud. Perhaps the image was treated with a fraudulent breeding ground (agar agar), attracting species that would normally not be lured by this artwork's specific pictorial quality. Another possibility, assuming that the artist was conscientious, is that the combination of the non-figurative grid on which the contrasting depiction was drawn, made the different species dizzy.
