Op het kunstwerk van deze artieste vonden we tal van kiezelwier-kolonies. Een duidelijker aanwijzing voor esthetische kunst kan men bijna niet vinden. Netjes gerangschikt in microscopisch kleine rijen hebben deze diatomeëen zich in de vezels van het papier van deze tekening verankerd. Dit is een voorbeeld van verantwoorde esthethiek. Er is geen sprake van diatomeëen in combinatie met ciliaten en rotiferen (:fout), maar van een pure monocultuur van Fragilaria (:zeer goed!).
On the artwork of this artist we found a number of diatom colonies. A more explicit indication for aesthetic art is hard to find. Neatly lined up in microscopic rows, these organisms have rooted deeply into the fibres of this drawing. This is an example of well-considered aesthetics. In this case we are not dealing with diatoms in combination with ciliates and rotifers (:wrong) but with a pure monoculture of Flagilaria (:splendid).
