Dit werk trok na het submergeren in ons proefstation vooral staafvormige (Pinnularia) diatomeëen en een enkele sieralg (Closterium) aan. Dit zijn organismen die een onwaarschijnlijke aantrekkingskracht uitoefenen op vooral apollinische, abstractie minnende soorten. Het was ook niet gemakkelijk om ze met het pipet van de afbeelding te verwijderen. Heel mooi en schoon werk, vooral gezien vanuit het protistische (ééncellige) oogpunt.
After being submerged in our sample container, this work attracted mainly band-shaped (Pinnularia) diatoms and a single beautiful one-celled desmid (Closterium). These are organisms that exert an incredible attraction on Apollinian, abstraction-loving species. After all it was not easy to remove the organisms from the image. Very fine and clean work, especially considered from the protist (one-celled) point of view.
