JEDEM DAS SEINE (Ieder het Zijne/To Each his Own) (2005)
Op het werkstuk van deze kunstenaar was een bijzondere ciliaat te vinden: Halteria. Dit zgn. onrustdiertje staat evenals de andere ciliaten (trilhaardiertjes) voor flitsende kunst, maar in het geval van Halteria had het wel een beetje minder gemogen. Er is geen afbeelding van Halteria beschikbaar, het organisme was helaas te snel om op de gevoelige plaat vast te leggen. gelukkig hebben we de ciliaat Litonotus bereid gevonden om te demonstreren op wat voor karakteristieke wijze een ciliaat zich door een kunstwerk beweegt.
On the work of this artist we came across a special ciliate: Halteria. Like other ciliates, this type of fast ciliate indicates flashy art, but, in this case, a little less would be preferred. There is no image available of Halteria. The organism moved too fast to be captured on film. Fortunately the ciliate Litonotus was willing to demonstrate the characteristic way a ciliate moves through a work of art.
