The study of visual arts has been a subjective science for ages. Therefore, art historians have never been taken quite serious in circles of the 'true' sciences. This has recently changed because of the introduction of a new objective science: Microbial Art Climatology. After years of study and the development of advanced technology, it is finally possible to practise quantitative research on the hidden meaning of Fine Art. For the first time in history we are able to provide hard figures in relation to the quality of works of art. The application of the microbial art climatological methodology will spare us questions like: 'What the hell am I looking at?' or 'What on earth does this mean?'

On Friday- and Sunday evening, Wim van Egmond, curator of the renowned Micropolitan Museum, gave a short introductory course in microbial art climatology and demonstrated how to put your private art work collection to an accurate scientific quality test.

ANALYSE / ANALYSIS

.

On Monday, March 29, 2005, the microbial art climatologist Wim van Egmond completed the qualitative investigation of the drawings that were shown on the Composed Compost exhibition. The official results of the microbial art climatological analysis could have been published around 17.00 h. that day. However, in view of the findings Wim considered it advisable to first consult his lawyer before the actual publication of the data. Now that Wim is hedged against possible lawsuits I am authorized to release the on-line record of the recent microbial art climatological investigation. For a log-in on the record, please click 'conclusions' of 'Wim van Egmond's microbial art climatological analysis' in the adjacent menu.
